Diablo 3 Beta, Release Target Dates Unveiled by Blizzard

2

Diablo 3 has been in production for what seems like centuries (though is really just the better part of a decade) and here we are finally making progress with a potential release date!

Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime announced during today’s Activision-Blizzard Q1 Financial call that they’re currently aiming for a late-2011 launch for the hugely anticipated RPG. Morhaime also announced that internal testing on the game has officially begun and that the company is aiming to begin public beta testing in Q3 (July).

No news on whether or not the company is definitely going to be porting the game over to consoles, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted!
