New behind-the-scenes footage announces that ‘Avengers Infinity War’ has begun filming

The Avengers have officially assembled! Marvel Studios just announced the start of filming for Avengers Infinity War,” the third Avengers film.

Lucky for us fans, the comic/movie studio did more than make a press release – they released an entire behind-the-scenes announcement reel!Marvel Studios just tweeted a behind the scenes look of Avengers Infinity War, as filming has officially has begun.

The brief teaser opens with the line, “Before creation itself, there were six singularities, forged into Infinity Stones.” The line sets us up for what Marvel Studios head Kevin Fiege described as “the culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe as started in May 2008 with the release of Iron Man 1.” He refers to it as an “impressive series of films interlinked together.”

And that’s no exaggeration! The video features an interview with Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), and Chris Pratt (Star Lord) on the same film stage, reuniting Tony Stark and Peter Parker, and, for the first time, Star Lord!

We still have quite the wait: Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to be released on May 4th, 2018.
