We haven’t been this excited since the release of Deathly Hallows! Today, the team behind Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the first post-Potter story from J.K. Rowling, released in-character portraits of Harry, Ginny, and Albus Severus (their child!). It’s everything we hoped for and more!
The story, which will unfold as a two-part play in London, follows Harry, Ginny, and Albus as they navigate life as the Boy Who Lived and his family. 19 years after the end of Deathly Hallows, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny are all grown up, and the Boy Who Lived’s youngest child is entering his first year at Hogwarts.
We recently posted about the stunning statue and sign erected outside of the play’s venue featuring Albus Severus sitting inside of a Golden Snitch-like nest.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will unfold as a play in London, with previews beginning in June and the official launch in July. Rowling and team will be releasing the play’s script on July 30th for fans who aren’t able to make it to London to see the show live!
