First trailer for Disney’s live-action ‘Beauty and the Beast’ hits the web!

Disney just released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming live-action Beauty and the Beast remake and, while we don’t see much, it’s turned out to be quite the pleaser!

The teaser shows us the exterior and interior of the classic’s castle as Cogsworth (Ian McKellen) and Lumiere (Ewan McGregor), and in the final scene, partially reveals Emma Watson’s Bell!

We haven’t gotten a glimpse of the Beast or any of the castle’s inhabitants, but judging by the overwhelmingly positive reaction to the teaser trailer, we’re sure their reveal will be received just as positively!

Disney is promising that their live-action re-telling will “refashion” the classic characters for a contemporary audience while staying true to the original. The film will also feature several new songs and an updated score.

The live-action Beauty and the Beast is set to hit theaters on March 17, 2017!
