Massive ‘Flash,’ ‘Arrow,’ ‘Legends of Tomorrow,’ and ‘Supergirl’ crossover planned for December on The CW!

With Supergirl heading over to The CW (from CBS, where it had a not-so-stellar first season), it was only a matter of time before we started hearing rumblings of a massive crossover between the leads of The FlashArrowLegends of Tomorrow, and now Supergirl!

We know that the showrunners behind The CW’s hit DC Comics shows are big fans of crossover stories across their three superhero properties. Now, with Supergirl in the mix, the crossovers can get even more epic!

Entertainment Weekly has a quote from the head of The CW, Mark Pedowitz, discussing a massive crossover episode set to hit sometime in December:

“Just imagine what our superhero crossover episode is going to look like come December. [It’ll be] our biggest one ever.”

The Flash‘s Barry Allen visited Supergirl‘s Kara earlier this season, but Supergirl never made an appearance on The Flash and the crossover was poorly handled on CW’s side, with Barry not saying a word about his encounter with the flying female wonder to any of his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs.

Each of CW’s now four DC Comic shows finished their runs and won’t return until fall 2016.
