Fresh off the Slab Horror News: ‘The Devil’s Carnival: Alleluia’, ‘Warcraft’, and ‘Outcast’

Apologies folks, there has been a lot of craziness going on lately! Never fear though, Fresh off the Slab is back with all the best horror news from last week!  Hope you enjoy the blood soaked madness that follows!

The Devil’s Carnival: Alleluia

Darren Lynn Bousman and Terrance Zdunich took us to hell in 2012’a The Devil’s Carnival. Now,  a trailer has dropped for the sequel to that journey: The Devil’s Carnival: Alleluia!

After triumphant collaborations on 2008′s REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA and 2012′s THE DEVIL’S CARNIVAL: EPISODE ONE, cult filmmakers Darren Lynn Bousman and Terrance Zdunich are back with the second installment to their fantasy-musical film franchise. In THE DEVIL’S CARNIVAL: ALLELUIA, Lucifer exacts a plot against Heaven, but God and his agents are ready for battle.

Human Centipede 3

Director Tom Six has released a still and a sound clip across social media sites to promote the final film of the Human Centipede series. With returning stars Dieter Laser and Laurence Harvey, the story will be ramped up with a terrifying 500-person centipede with a prison involved in the mix. Also starring are Eric Roberts, Tommy “Tiny” Lister, Robert LaSardo and Bree Olson.

Robert Kirkman’s Outcast

Deadline has announced that we will be seeing another comic book adaptation coming to us from the mind of Robert Kirkman and casting news is rolling out. Kirkman and Paul Azaceta’s Outcast has found a leading man in Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous, Gone Girl) who will play the role of Kyle Barnes, a man who has been plagued by demonic possession for his entire life.

Also cast in this project are Phillip Glenister (Kingdom of Heaven) who will play a hard drinking, gambling reverend and Gabriel Batemen will tackle the role of a young version of Barnes. Adam Wingard (You’re Next) has reportedly been tapped to direct the pilot.

Despite the success of ‘The Walking Dead,’ ‘Outcast’ is only my second foray into the horror genre,” Kirkman said previously. “I think Kyle Barnes is every bit as compelling as Rick Grimes and demonic possession is way scarier than zombies – so this is going to be fun.
