First clip from the Soska sister’s ‘See No Evil 2’ released

I am unabashedly a huge fan of the Soska Sisters and their films. From Dead Hooker in the Trunk to American Mary, I have enjoyed what they bring to the screen and to horror genre. . When the Soska sisters announced that they were taking on See No Evil 2, I had the highest belief that they would bring something amazing and twisted to the film. I can’t wait to see it.

Now, we get our first clip from the film which features American Mary alumn Katharine Isabelle acting in a wonderfully sexy and twisted manner with the corpse of our villain. This clip shows how the film will be filled with Jen and Sylvia’s style containing gallows humour, pure sexiness, and creepiness. It looks like the Soska sisters have gifted the horror fans among us with something fun and unique.

I love the reference to the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale in this clip. I think children’s fairy tales may have taken a far different turn if directed by the Soska sisters. Sleeping Beauty, indeed. Plus, I think replacing the chaste kiss of the fairy tale with Katherine Isabelle straddling our killer would create a new fan base for fairy tales.

Starring Danielle Harris (Halloween, Hatchet II), Kane, Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps, Freddy vs Jason, American Mary), Greyston Holt (Lost Boys: The Tribe), Chelan Simmons (Tucker and Dale vs Evil), Kaj Eriksen (American Mary) and Lee Majdoub (American Mary), the film is scheduled to be available on Digital HD and Video On Demand Friday, October 17th, and on Blu-ray (plus Digital HD) and DVD (plus Digital) on Tuesday, October 21st.

A group of friends pays a late-night visit to the city morgue to surprise Amy (Harris) on her birthday. But the surprise is on them when the one-eyed corpse of brutal psychopath Jacob Goodnight (Jacobs) unexpectedly rises from a cold sub-basement slab. Their wild party quickly turns into a terrifying slay-fest as the sadistic mass-murderer resumes his savage rampage complete with hooks, surgical knives and power saws.
