It’s 2014 and the horror movie news is pouring in! Take a peek and see what might horrify you on the big screen or the small screen!
A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night
A new trailer has been released for the film A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. This is the first that I have heard about the film, but I dig the trailer. Take a peek and let me know what you think!
Strange things are afoot in Bad City. The Iranian ghost town, home to prostitutes, junkies, pimps and other sordid souls, is a bastion of depravity and hopelessness where a lonely vampire stalks its most unsavory inhabitants. But when boy meets girl, an unusual love story begins to blossom… blood red.
The Purge 2
The Purge hit the scene with mixed ratings, but it did do fairly well in the box office. The night of no limitations and free scale murder was popular enough that a sequel is heading our way. Rather than focusing on a single house like in the original film, the sequel will hopefully focus more on the wide picture of the night.
Actor Zach Gilford spoke out about the upcoming sequel saying:
With this one, there’s none of the same characters, but it’s the same day of the year and it takes place in the city where there are no security systems and it’s just like a war zone where people are just trying to survive. So I thought it was pretty interesting to take that concept and to look at it from a different angle.
Check out the creepy trailer for Patrick Hasson’s Blood Shed. Hasson wrote the film and focused on the homeless population of the United States and, specifically, Los Angeles.
Hasson became aware of the extreme homeless epidemic while living in LA. He was helping a friend move possessions into a storage unit and observed a homeless person living in a storage unit.
At one point, he found himself homeless and jobless, and he ended up living in his storage unit. His experiences with living in the freaking storage units flavor the film, and I think might also create an amazingly creepy film.
