For the past week, The Hunger Games Explorer, an interactive promotional website for The Hunger Games and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, has been adding Quarter Quell tributes to a massive arena banner. The arena was first filled by District 11’s Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, with other Districts’ tributes slowly following suit. Today, the final Hunger Games tribute was added: Finnick Odair, a victor from District 4.
From left to right, the banner contains: Finnick Odair (District 4), Mags (District 4), Johanna Mason (District 7), Enobaria (District 2), Brutus (District 2), Wiress (District 3), Beetee (District 3), Gloss (District 1), Cashmere (District 1), Katniss Everdeen (District 11), Peeta Mellark (District 11).
Lionsgate has also released a new still from the film featuring Katniss and Peeta during the Victory Tour:
For those of you who haven’t read the books or need a refresher on the Catching Fire plot:
Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set to hit theaters on November 22nd, 2013!
