Glimpse at District 7’s ‘Catching Fire’ Quarter Quell participant, Johanna Mason, revealed in Capitol Couture

The second issue of Capitol Couture, a Hunger Games-inspired fashion magazine set within and inspired by the world of Katniss Everdeen, hit virtual magazine stands today, highlighting a new character from the second Hunger Games film.

The new issue offers us two glimpses at former District 7 champion Johanna Mason (played by Jenna Malone), a former winner of the Hunger Games who will once again return to the arena for the Quarter Quell. Mason will be up against District 11 champions Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, as well as two representatives from each of the other ten districts:

Capitol Couture is a faux fashion magazine representing the bizarre and diverse styles of Pandem’s Capitol residents. The first issue, released earlier this year, featured Effie Trinket on the cover and main spread.

Here’s how Capitol Couture describes their summer issue:

Summer in the Capitol beckons leisure and repose, as we await the upcoming Games. For most of us, the season means lighter, frothier fashion and whimsical pursuits. For our spectacular victors, however, it’s time to once again hone mental and physical prowess. Join us in recess and heady anticipation with Zoetic Sol.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is the second of four films in the Hunger Games franchise and is set to hit theaters this November!
