Check out the epic final trailer for Pacific Rim, titled “Second Chances”, and the latest TV spot. Directed by Guillermo del Toro and starring Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, and Rinko Kikuchi, Pacific Rim hits theaters on July 12th.

When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

The newest trailer for Neil Blomkamp’s Elysium is a much more detailed look at the story and the action than the previous trailers – and there seems to be a lot to look forward to. Starring Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, and Sharlto Copley, Elysium comes out on August 9th.

In the year 2154, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined planet. The
people of Earth are desperate to escape the crime and poverty that is now rampant throughout the land. The only man with the chance to bring equality to these worlds is Max (Matt Damon), an
ordinary guy in desperate need to get to Elysium. With his life hanging in the balance, he reluctantly takes on a dangerous mission – one that pits him against Elysium’s Secretary Delacourt (Jodie Foster) and her hard-line forces – but if he succeeds, he could save not only his own life, but millions of people on Earth as well.

Here is a new trailer for Snowpiercer, a dystopian movie directed by Joon-ho Bong. Snowpiercer stars Chris Evans, Alison Pill, Jamie Bell, Tilda Swinton, and John Hurt. There is no release date yet.

In a future where a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet, a class system evolves aboard the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine.

Check out the new TV spot for Riddick, set for a release on September 6th. Riddick stars Vin Diesel, Karl Urban, and Katee Sackhoff.

Left for dead on a sun-scorched planet, Riddick finds himself up against an alien race of predators. Activating an emergency beacon alerts two ships: one carrying a new breed of mercenary, the other captained by a man from Riddick’s past.

Take a look at the first teaser for The Boxtrolls, from the creators of ParaNorman. Featuring the voices of Elle Fanning, Simon Pegg, Toni Collette, and Isaac Hempstead Wright, The Boxtrolls comes out on September 26th, 2014.
