Well, it looks like we have a potential change in the casting of the leading lady in Guillermo Del Toro’s Crimson Peak. Emma Stone has left the project, and Mia Wasikowska (Stoker) is being eyed for the role, according to The Wrap.
Mia Wasikowska is an Australian actress who has starred in the HBO television series In Treatment. Her breakout role that introduced her to the world was as Alice in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. She has also starred in The Kids Are All Right, Jane Eyre, Restless, Albert Nobbs, Lawless, and Stoker. In Crimson Peak, she would be starring across from Charlie Hunnam, Jessica Chastain, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
Plot details are unknown as the story is being rewritten and revised by Del Toro and Lucinda Coxon.
