Preview six minutes of Hans Simmer’s ‘Man of Steel’ score and browse the soundtrack’s track listings

man-of-steel-hans-zimmer-soundtrackA six minute long preview of the soon-to-be-released Hans Zimmer score for Superman reboot Man of Steel has hit the web, and it’s as chilling as the movie trailers. The beautiful score includes eighteen new songs ranging from fast-paced action scores to slow, beautiful and eerie arrangements.

Hans Zimmer, known for his incredible work on such films as The Dark Knight, Inception, and Pirates of the Caribbean, will follow John Williams, who scored the soundtrack for the 1978 Superman film. Having such a renowned composer attached to Man of Steel is great news for the already hugely-anticipated DC project, and will hopefully help propel the film into the territory reserved for Richard Donner’s Superman.
