Iron Man 3 promotion is in overdrive as the film’s cast and crew heads around the globe to promote the film at various movie premieres and press junkets. Over the past day alone, four new clips — three television spots (short trailers) and one movie scene — have been released, and perhaps even bigger, a detailed description of the after-credits scene featured at the end of the film has hit the web!
The exclusive clip, revealed during the MTV Movie Awards, shows the attack on Tony Stark’s house. The scene opens with a helicopter firing on Stark, who is trying to escape and suit up to fend off the attack. The scene ends mid-battle, after Stark, wearing a prototype Iron Man suit, launches a grand piano at an attacking helicopter:

Now that the movie is being screened around the world for film premieres and press junkets, more information is surfacing on its plot and special scenes. Most buzzed about is the after-the-credits scene, known as a vehicle for hinting at future Marvel films. One reporter who saw the film detailed the post-credit scene:
It starts with a close shot of Tony Stark on a couch talking about his various traumas, obviously he’s talking to someone, as if he was seeing a shrink, the tone of the scene is light and supposedly funny. Then we discover that the person he’s talking to is Bruce Banner/Mark Ruffalo, who fell asleep because of Tony’s boring story. Tony remarks that Banner has been sleeping during the most part of his story and yells at him, and Banner just mumbles and says “You know, I’m not that kind of doctor!” Then Tony recalls another memory and resumes his monologue, and then we see Banner starting to fall asleep again.
It’s important to note that this report is unconfirmed. Additionally, fans hoping to see more revealing content can rest easy; it isn’t uncommon for Marvel to feature a second post-credits scene at the end of the film, containing more plot hints than its first, less serious post-credits scene. This scene usually isn’t screened at premieres and press screenings and is reserved for the actual theatrical releases.
Iron Man 3 hits theaters on May 3rd!
