Kickstarter for HP Lovecraft Bronze Bust Project goes live on May 1st



A kickstarter campaign will kick off on 1st, 2013 to erect a life-size tribute to Howard Phillip Lovecraft (H.P. Lovecraft) in his hometown of Providence, Rhode Island. With a goal of August 2013, the campaign is striving to honor and preserve the works and life of H.P. Lovecraft. bryjovThis campaign has garnered recognition and support from Jovanka Vuckovic, award winning writer and filmmaker. Jovanka has taken the helm on the kickstarter campaign. Along with founder and sculptor Bryan Moore, the duo is aiming to unveil the bust at Necronomicon in August 2013.

A host of people have come on board with the project, actively participating in the campaign, contributing materials for giveaways, or spreading the word. These people include Frank Woodward, Sean Branney and Andrew Leman of the H.P. Spearheaded by sculptor Bryan Moore, The H.P. Lovecraft Bronze Bust Project is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of the famous author’s literary legacy. Lovecraft’s cosmic imagination has influenced every region of pop culture including video games, comic books, music and film. H.P. Lovecraft Bronze Bust Project has finally secured a location for a life size bronze tribute to Lovecraft at the Athenaeum Library (founded in 1753) and will launch a public crowd funding campaign on May 1st to raise the funds needed to place the bust there.
