Update on Evil Dead IV??
Sam Raimi announced on Friday that he would be working on the script for Evil Dead IV with his brother Ivan this summer. Bleeding Cool caught up with the director and he had the following to say:
“I would like to work on the script over the summer,” he explains. “That much is true. But the reason to come back and do it again is only that they’re making me, those fans… I am thinking about it, but a crowd goes ‘Come on Sam, do it!’ so I said ‘Okay, I guess I was talking to my brother about it.’ But I feel like I was pushed into saying that, a little bit.”
Well, here’s to hoping that the film becomes a reality and that the brothers can bring the same enthusiasm to the film as was brought to the original trilogy.
