Delayed Marvel Phase One Box Set Will Tease Phase Two Films


The Avengers hit store shelves on September 25, 2012, and hundreds of fans finally got their hands on the year’s biggest superhero movie event. That day was also supposed to mark the release of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase One: Avengers Assembled Box Set, but an unexpected legal issue arose that kept it from eager fans and their wallets. Shortly before the set was to go on sale, a German suitcase manufacturing company came forth and claimed the packaging bore the likeness of one of their products. Now that the lawsuit has been settled, details have emerged concerning when the set will be released and what fans can expect to find in it.

According to various sources, the set will hit stores on April 2, 2013 and will contain new, never-before-seen sneak peeks at the next batch of films Marvel is cooking up for us. The features will reportedly include new footage, concept art, and more.
