Last Week In Trailers: “Life Of Pi”, “Mama” And More!

Check out the new international trailer for Life of Pi, scheduled for a release on November 21st. It’s even more spectacular than the last trailer and goes into a bit more detail. Directed by Ang Lee, Life of Pi stars Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan and Adil Hussain.

The new trailer for Mama, presented by Guillermo Del Toro and directed by Andres Muschetti, is all kinds of creepy and then some. Looks like this has a potential to be a really quality, atmospheric horror. Starring Jessica Chastain, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Megan Charpentier, Mama comes out on January 18th, 2013. Here’s the synopsis from IMDb:

Annabel and Lucas are faced with the challenge of raising his young nieces that were left alone in the forest for 5 years…. but how alone were they?

The latest trailer for Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D surely does a great job at misleading the audience in the first few scenes, before all the “fun” begins. Directed by John Luessenhop, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D stars Alexandra Daddario, Tania Raymonde and Scott Eastwood. It will hit theaters on January 4th, 2013.

The red band trailer for the found-footage horror Sinister is goosebumps-inducing – hopefully, the actual movie will have the same effect. Directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Ethan Hawke, Juliet Rylance and James Ransone, Sinister comes out on October 12th.
