It’s Stefan Bachmann Week on Lytherus!

Hey all! This week we’re happy to bring you up-and-coming author Stefan Bachmann, whose debut novel, The Peculiar, releases tomorrow. His book has been blurbed by both Christopher Paolini and Rick Riordan, is a starred review from Publisher’s Weekly, and was just given a nice write-up in the New York Times. I’m anticipating big things for this book.

He’s also quite the interesting guy. Here’s his bio: Stefan Bachmann is a writer and musician. He was born in Colorado and now lives with his family in Zurich, Switzerland, where he attends the Zurich Conservatory. He began writing The Peculiar in 2010, when he was sixteen years old.

So, what’s happening on Lytherus for Stefan Bachmann week?

Check back for all the goodies!

About Author

  • This reminds me a little of Suzanne Collins’ Underworld series. Why haven’t I heard of this before??

    • It’s’ not out yet. Coming out tomorrow. And from having read both, I actually think they’re very different. But it is really good, I enjoyed it a lot.

      • For some reason I was thinking it would have a plethora of magical talking creatures…something I couldn’t stand until I read the Underworld series! I’m glad you enjoyed it – this will be on my wishlist!
