Last Week In Trailers: “Breaking Dawn Part 2”, “Cloud Atlas” And More!

The latest trailer for the final installment of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn – Part 2, is even more packed with vampire and werewolf action. We also get quite an impressive new sequence of Bella hunting… a mountain lion. Breaking Dawn – Part 2 hits theaters on November 16th.

A combined effort from directors Andy Wachowski, Lana Wachowski, and Tom Tykwer, Cloud Atlas looks like a fascinating, endlessly complex movie. The scale is grand, with many smaller interconnected story lines that take place in the past, present and future. Starring Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Ben Wishaw, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, and Susan Sarandon, Cloud Atlas comes out on October 26th.

Meet the grown-up, witch-hunting Hansel and Gretel in the new trailer for Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. Re-imagining the well-known fairy tales seems to be the thing these days, and this version of Hansel and Gretel looks dark and fun at the same time. Directed by Tommy Wirkola and starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters hits theaters on January 11th, 2013. Here’s the synopsis from IMDb:

In this dark spin on the fairy tale, siblings Hansel and Gretel are a formidable team of bounty hunters who track and kill witches all over the world.

Yet another found-footage movie will be making its way into theaters soon – The Bay, in which something very sinister looms in the water. Directed by Barry Levinson and starring Kristen Connolly, Jane McNeill and Anthony Reynolds, The Bay comes out on November 2nd. Here’s the synopsis from IMDb:

Chaos breaks out in a small Maryland town after an ecological disaster occurs.
