“World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria” gets an official September release date!

The fourth World of Warcraft expansion, Mists of Pandaria, has been officially set to release on Tuesday, September 25th.  Mists of Pandaria promises to take players both new and old on tons of new quests, give them access to a completel ynew race (the Pandaren), allow them to play as a new monk class, and raises the level cap to 90.

Pre-sales for Mists are now live and gamers can order a Digital Deluxer or a Retail Collector’s Edition, rather than the traditional $40.00 vanilla version.  Coupled in with the Retail Collector’s Edition is a wealth of in-game bonus items, including a new mount and a new pet, all of which are also offered with the Digital Deluxe version

The biggest notable difference with the Collector’s Edition is the behind-the-scenes DVD/Blu-Ray, soundtrack CS, an art book, and a Chen Stormstout mousepad.  Keep in mind, those goodies are only available in an actual retail store – Blizzard won’t ship them to you for digital downloads, but all of the in-game digital items come with either “special” editions.
