Date Set for Premier of Nickelodeon’s new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cartoon


                Announced this morning, Nickelodeon will begin airing the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon on Saturday, September 29 at 11 am. This premier will include two half-hour back-to-back episodes. All the boys have come back for the par-tay – Leonardo, voiced by Jason Biggs (American Pie), Raphael, voiced by Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings), Michelangelo voiced by Greg Cipes (Teen Titans), and Donatello voiced by Rob Paulsen was the voice of the original Raphael during the classic 80s-90s TV show.

Nickelodeon has described this new version of the old show as “Funnier and with more Ninjutsu than ever before, the show will explore the companionship of four teenage brothers learning to rely on themselves and one another as they unravel the mystery of their existence and grow to become the heroes in a half-shell that they are destined to be.”

All the old characters will be there include April, Master Splinter, and of course, Shredder.
