Looks like World War Z is experiencing some problems even after shooting wrapped up in 2011. With all shooting being concluded, the film should be well into post-production. This is not the case. Paramount has hired Prometheus screenwriter Damon Lindelof to retool the adaptation of Max Brooks’ novel that depicts the outbreak of the zombie apocalypse and the aftermath. The focus of the retooling and impending reshooting will mainly be centered on on the third part and final part of the film. It has been suggested that there may be a total of 7 additional weeks of shooting.
Originally, World War Z was scheduled to be released on Dec. 21 but has been pushed back to June 2013 now.
