Filming for The Walking Dead Season 3 started a few weeks ago, and AMC has started to release stills of new characters plus stills of the characters we have grown to love, hate, or respect.

Two weeks ago, AMC also released the first pic of Michonne for the upcoming season. Michonne was seen as the hooded figure in the Season 2 finale who saved Andrea from a walker attack. Yes, the person who had two walkers on chains and swung a mean katana. Michonne is being played by Danai Gurira. You can see this pic here:
AMC is having a Walking Dead marathon on June 7th and 8th. This is the AMC The Walking Dead Season 3 Preview Weekend will include a marathon of all 19 episodes from the first two seasons. The marathon will culminate with a live episode of Talking Dead with Chris Hardwick. Following this will be a never-before-seen black and white version of The Walking Dead pilot episode (a special treat for the fans of the original black and white comic book written by Robert Kirkman).
Hardwick will be introducing each episode of the marathon from the set of Season 3 in Atlanta, Georgia. There will be special sneak peaks of the new sets. Each episode will be concluded with exclusive content, like behind the scenes footage, interviews with the casts, etc.
