HUGE News! Changed Release Dates Announced For Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Thor 2, X-Men First Class 2, And Robopocalypse!

Get ready for some huge news, movie fans! According to Box-Office Mojo, a slew of highly-anticipated films have recently received new release dates. So, get excited, film fanatics! Some films are now being released earlier than expected, others are right on time, and one has been pushed back a year.

First up is Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the long foreseen sequel to last year’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which takes theaters by storm on May 23rd, 2014. That’s a long time to wait, but I’m sure this is comforting news for those who were waiting for a release date.

It’s a great time to be a Marvel fan! Thor 2 now hits theaters a week earlier, November 8th, 2013, instead of the previously scheduled November 15th release. While it’s only a week, I’m sure this is good news for those waiting in fevered anticipation for the God of Thunder’s return to the big screen.

Next up is Robopocalypse, which will hit theaters on April 25th, 2014. Written by Cloverfield scribe Drew Goddard and directed by the legendary Steven Spielberg, it looks to be a popular release for that year.

The unofficially titled X-Men First Class 2 will be in theaters on July 18th, 2014. Given the critical and commercial success of the first film, it’ll be interesting to see how this one holds up in terms of story and character development.

What do you all think? What movies mentioned here are you most excited for?
