Crunchyroll, Crackle, and Hulu Now Streaming Madoka Magica
Crunchyroll began streaming an English subtitled version of the popular Magical Girl series Puella Magi Madoka Magica earlier this week on the 15th. New Episodes will appear every Wednesday on Crunchyroll at 10AM PST/1AM EST. This stream is only available in North America, so fans in other territories will have to pick up the show on DVD or Blu-Ray. The show is also streaming on Hulu and Crunchyroll on the same schedule. Madoka Magica puts a fresh, dark, spin on the familiar Magical girls saving the world that sailor moon helped establish and was a big success during it’s initial run last year. If you are a fan of dark fantasy, be sure to catch it.

MADHOUSE Studio Making Charlie Brown Anime
Studio MADHOUSE is known for it;s track record of supurb animation and overall Quality in their work. Some of their more notable projects include Cardcaptor Sakura, Redline, Ninja Scroll, Paprika, and other works from director Satoshi Kon. Now, it seems that MADHOUSE will be bringing snoopy and the Peanuts gang to life according to a statement from the MADHOUE website.
“At the end of 2011, Peanuts Worldwide LLC has assigned Madhouse as their designated studio for the animation production of Peanuts property. As of yet, there are only two companies with such status. Base on this agreement, Madhouse has completed a short animation with Peanuts character. The short is released somewhere in Tokyo. If you’re interested, please look around the web!”

The Secret World of Arrietty out in US Theaters!
The latest Studio Ghibli film to reach American audiences, The Secret World of Arrietty was released this Friday. Based on the Mary Norton novel, The Borrowers, the story follows Borrowers, little people who live under the floors an scavenge for useful little things that people won’t miss. The film Follows the young borrower Arrietty as she befriends a shy young human boy named Shaun.
