Today was an exciting day for Avengers fans! At 2:00 PM EST, director Joss Whedon, Tom Hiddleston(Loki), and Clark Gregg(Agent Coulson) sat down at their respective computers and answered some burning questions from excited fans. The directions were simple. All you had to do was follow @Avengers on Twitter and tag your tweet with the hashtag #Avengers. Also, you had a chance to view a sneak peek of The Avengers SuperBowl trailer!
The session only lasted thirty minutes, but some great questions were asked. This unique opportunity provided fans with new insights on the film directly from the people involved, and it would not be surprising if they announce another cool event in the coming months.
Did you get the chance to ask Whedon or the cast your burning questions about the film? If so, post below! We would love to hear about your experience!
Hey Lytherians! Some more bits of important into that were the product of the recent Twitter Avengers chat included clip of the upcoming (next weekend) Super Bowl Avengers Movie Preview (see below), which features a great, and one of the first, images of the Hulk as he will appear in this particular film. As well as this important clip, the twitter feed produced a few tid bits of important info.
#1 – Contrary to recent rumors, there will NOT be a Spider-Man cameo in the Avengers movie. Major bummer, I know.
#2 – When asked whether or not the film’s plot would be referencing any classic Avengers stories, Whedon replied thusly: “It’s a combo platter: classic, Ultimate, plus a little ‘Richie Rich’ & ‘Mastering the Art of French Cooking.’”
#3 – Concerning Samuel L. Jackson, he said that we’ll see interaction between Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders’ character all the time, but he did say that it’s “sorta contentious.” Most importantly, he confirmed that we won’t be seeing any Fury back story yet.
Those were some of the important bits! Now enjoy the Avengers (all ten seconds of them that this preview clip provides!)
