Last Week In Trailers: “Lockout”, “Playback”, “Mirror Mirror”

The new Lockout trailer is a much better look at the story – and so far, it’s looking pretty promising. There is definitely going to be plenty of cool action scenes in space. Not to mention all the crazy inmates running around free on the high security space prison. Starring Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace, Lockout is coming out on April 20th. Here’s what IMDB says:

A man wrongly convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage against the U.S. is offered his freedom if he can rescue the president’s daughter from an outer space prison taken over by violent inmates.

Check out this freaky new trailer for horror/thriller¬†Playback, directed by Michael A. Nickles, and starring Christian Slater and Toby Hemingway. Here’s what IMDB says:

When a group of high school students dig into their town’s infamous past they unwittingly unlock an Evil that corrupts and destroys them. Possessing its victims through video playback and using them for malevolent purposes, it closes in on one specific soul, threatening to expose the town’s deepest, darkest secret.

Playback comes out on March 9th.

The new international trailer for Mirror Mirror is full of new scenes and gives a better sense of what the movie is going to be like – a pretty different imagining of Snow White. Directed by Tarsem Singh and starring Lily Collins and Julia Roberts, Mirror Mirror hits theaters on March 30th. Here’s the synopsis from IMDB:

An evil queen steals control of a kingdom and an exiled princess enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright.
