New “Hunger Games” photo shows Katniss, Effie, and Haymitch

Thanks to Hunger Games fansite Mockingjay.net, we now have a new look at three of the Hunger Games book and movie’s biggest characters: Katniss, Effie, and Haymitch!

The photo clearly shows the trio dressed up and ready to go, with the exception of Haymitch, who appears to have had a few too many drinks. Effie is dressed “to the nines” in the Capitol’s signature “over the top” look, while Katniss appears to be sitting and hugging her legs, with a clear look of nervousness painted across her face.

We’re a bit surprised that more clips and images have yet to hit the web, as the film is set to hit theaters in late March. However, this could be a sign that big things are coming soon… as promotion is bound to hit “overdrive” in the next few weeks. Stay tuned to Lytherus — you know we’ll be updating you!
