Ender Wiggin Has Been Chosen! “Hugo” Star Offered the Role in the “Ender’s Game” Movie


Big news for the Ender’s Game movie: Asa Butterfield, the fourteen-year-old actor chosen starring in the title role for the movie Hugo, has been offered the lead role of Ender Wiggin.

Butterfield was among a few final contenders for the coveted, crucial role, and signs are good that he’ll accept the role. Butterfield is also known for his roles in The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and Son of Rambow. 

Ender’s Game is being adapted by Summit Entertainment and is set to release March 15th, 2013. Gavin Hood is directing, and his past successes include Wolverine and Tsotsi.
