The Newest Cinematic in “Diablo III” Shows Off a Threatening New Villain!

It is no secret that Diablo 3 is going to be one of the biggest games in 2012.  The series has marked its place in history because of its very easy to grasp RPG system and its epic story.  Released earlier today, is Blizzard’s way of teasing fans everywhere by releasing a brand new trailer that is sure to impress fans.

Nothing sends a clear message like a finely-crafted CG-cinematic cutscene, and thankfully the latest released brings plenty of details. The new villain for the game (of what may be several) is none other than Azmodan, the Lord of Sin. Previously considered a Lesser Evil, Azmodan looks to be gathering his very own army in a brand new attack on the land of Sanctuary.

He may not be as scary or seen as powerful as the franchise’s past antagonists, but the brand new cinematic titled “The Black Soulstone” is pulled directly from the campaign and gives us a taste at a very threatening evil.  The scene depicts Deckard Cain’s niece Leah trying to understand the cryptic writings of her uncle, when Azmodan delivers a dark message of events to come.
