Star Wars: Blood Ties – Boba Fett is Dead
Coming April 2012, Star Wars writing veteran Tom Taylor is back with a new Blood Ties series. Taylor will be reuniting with artist Chris Scalf to provide this sequel to their original Star Wars: Blood Ties mini-series. This initial mini provided a look into the relationship between Fett and his father, Jango. The image you see to the left is the cover of issue #1 of Boba Fett is Dead.

Star Wars: Knight Errant – Escape
Another DK announcement at todays NYCC concerned the Star Wars Knight Errant series, proclaiming that the next installment will launch in June 2012 as a 5-issue arc. John Jackson Miller will be taking on this project as writer along side of artist Marco Castiello and inker Vincenzo Acunzo with colors by Michael Atiyeh and letters by Micheal Heiser. John Jackson Miller is the author of the Del Rey Knight Errant novel which rose to the NY Times Bestseller List.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – War! A New Beginning for the Old Republic
According to Dark Horse, the Knights of the Old Republic video game and comic books chronicle one of the most popular eras in the Star Wars universe, making it a perfect entry point for interested fans!

Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi
Dark Horse announces a brand new series! Ever wonder over the origins of the Jedi? This series will answer all your questions of how the Jedi were established – an age of mythic legend revealed! The creators of this series are John Ostrander and Jan Duursema. They will launch with issue #0 on February 1, 2012. Also look for Star Was: Dawn of the Jedi – Force Storm #1 on sale February 15, 2012.

Dark Horse announces a brand new 5-issue series featuring Darth Vader in his usual ass-kicking role. This series, not to come out until next May, will be written by Haden Blackman and illustrated by Agustin Alessio.
Ghost Prison takes place a year after Revenge of the Sith and will showcase Darth Vader’s impact on the galaxy in ways fans have never seen. Darth Vader will serve the Emperor to the best of his abilities, after all – Darth Vader makes no mistakes. Ghost Prison also marks the return of Star Wars character Moff Trachta who will be vital to how the series unfolds.
