In Assassin’s Creed Revelations Ezio travels to the Ottoman Empire and encounters a new league of assassins, and a whole new set of tools. New tools are always fun to tinker around with, this time players will have the ability to use bombs. Ezio will be able to dispatch, distract, and obviously wound his foes with this added to his arsenal.
In part two of our journey through the world ofAssassin’s Creed Revelations, Ubisoft introduces all of the unique bomb combinations that are available, as well as the bomb crafting in the game. With everything from trip to tossing varieties at the ready, players won’t be as concerned with keeping guards out of their hair, but will instead have fun doing so.
Check out a sneak peek on how bombs will be utilized:
Of course, playing around with new mechanics and weaponry is exciting, but what most gamers looking forward to is the conclusion to the Ezio and Altair chapters in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. We know Ubisoft has many more stories to tell – including a conclusion to the Desmond saga. However, it will still feel good to finally feel some sort of closure.
Clearly the Ottoman Empire has a lot to offer our aged Ezio by way of assassin secrets and advantageous weaponry. The bombs might seem a bit overpowered, but it comes with the territory of being a master assassin.
Assassin’s Creed Revelations releases November 15, 2011 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
