Rockstar games was proud to announce that their latest hit Max Payne 3 – the “new dark, gritty action experience” is officially releasing on March 20th, 2012 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in both North America and Europe.
With the announcement, game a bit more detail about the story itself. Max is still being haunted by the memories of his traumatic past and he begins a new life working private security protecting a wealthy family in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Gangs target the family under his protection so Max is forced to fight and save his clients and clear his name hoping that he can once and for all rid himself of the demons that have tortured him for so long.
To make it even more epic, Rockstar Games have picked it up exactly where creators, Remedy Entertainment, left off Max Payne 2. Max Payne 3 will us brand new cutting edge technology to make a “seamless, cinematic action experience,” incorporating the latest advances in Natural Motion physics. Also, a brand new iteration of the Rockstar Advance Game Engine which will result in extensive realistic weaponry, intelligent cover system and a real sophisticated bullet-time mechanic.
With the single-player campaign being upgraded, Max Payne 3 will be the first in the series to introduce and invigorating multiplayer experience. In a unique twist, Max Payne 3 multiplayer delivers a compelling experience that dynamically alters maps and mode progression for all players in a match. Along with traditional multiplayer modes, Max Payne 3 will also include a deep reward and leveling system, persistent clans and multiple strategic load-out options.
