The Show Fox Left Behind – Locke and Key Trailer Released

Fans of the Locke and Key comic book were all abuzz when rumors of a TV show turned into an actual pilot being made. Unfortunately, Fox decided to pass on the pilot and apparently shopping this TV show around hasn’t faired so well for writer Joe Hill. But the official trailer has, at least, been released for audiences to take a look at what could have been.

Locke & Key tells of Keyhouse, an unlikely New England mansion, with fantastic doors that transform all who dare to walk through them…. and home to a hate-filled and relentless creature that will not rest until it forces open the most terrible door of them all…

The writer of this (judging by the trailer) pretty amazing could-have-been tv show was Josh Friedman, who had previously worked on Terminator: The Sarha Conner Chronicles for the network. The lack of network interest in this one has a lot of fans bummed. For more information on what the plans for this show were, check out my interview with Joe Hill back when the pilot was still in the middle of filming and hopes were still high.
