Teen Fantasy and Scifi Movies Sweep “Teen Choice Awards” — Again

2

The 2011 Teen Choice Awards were held last night in California, and unsurprisingly to teens everywhere, Harry Potter and Twilight cleaned house at the award show — winning a combined eleven awards/surfboards (seven of which went to the final Harry Potter film).

The Vampire Diaries and Wizards of Waverly place were also big scifi/fantasy winners at this year’s awards show. Check out the full list of fantasy and scifi winners at the show:

On a personal note, does watching these shows not get tiring? The same shows/actors/musicians win every category, every year. We understand that this is a “teen choice” show, but it’s clear that the nominations and winners are hardly representative of the best of that year but rather the groups with the most insane fans. Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift, Twilight — doesn’t it get old?
