Hugh Jackman made an unexpected visit to Comic-Con in order to talk about and promote his upcoming fighting robot movie, Real Steel. (If you missed the trailer for that movie, you can see it at the bottom of this article).
In the midst of the robot talk, though, the conversation inevitably turned to his awaited return to the screen as Wolverine.
“I’m filming Les Miserables in February, but before that I will be filming Wolverine 2 in October. Chris McQuarrie has written a fantastic script and it should turn out really good. I’ll fight the Silver Samurai in it so that should be exciting. Most of the filming will take place in Japan.”
The Silver Samurai, Kenuichio Harada, is a longtime enemy of Wolverine in the Marvel Comics. He first appeared in 1974 and has been both an ally and an emeny to both the Avengers and Wolverine in that time. Is also the Oyabun (the leader) of the Clan Yashida, a very influencial Japanese society.
