There are few games that really bring back the memories. Twisted Metal has always been one of those games and I am sure many gamers can agree. The original made its beautiful debut on the Playstation, only a few months after the console was released. As games evolved rapidly, Twisted Metal stayed true to its classic roots. This fall, we will be seeing a whole new side of this game.
David Jaffe is back. This time he is working on his precious franchise and is committed to bringing back what we have all learn to love about Twisted Metal and also offering a various amount of new options and exciting new game modes. This time, it is an all out turf war for the roadways and involves four different factions; the Clowns, the Dolls, the Skulls, and the Preachers.
Check out this video below that focuses on the Clown faction leader (and well love character) Sweet Tooth, in his new and improved vehicular forms.
I can’t help but to think of Transformers when I see this new gameplay in action. However, this will help keep the game fresh and ideally open up new ways to take out your enemies and bring for more exciting gameplay. This type of feature should keep long time fans pleased for quite awhile and hopefully bring in a new generation of players as well.
Sorry to you Xbox fans, Twisted Metal is set to release exclusively for the Playstation 3 on October 4th, 2011.
