Two New Additions To The Cast Of “The Hobbit”!


The actors for the last two major parts in The Hobbit were announced this week.

Luke Evans will portray Bard in the upcominig adaptation.

Bard the Grim is a skilled archer, and the heir of King Girion of Dale. The king was killed by the talking dragon Smaug.

 Evans plays Aramis in the upcoming Three Musketeers, after supporting roles in Immortals, Robin Hood and Clash of the Titans.

As for the dragon Smaug, he will be voiced and portrayed in motion capture by Benedict Cumberbatch, the star of BBC mini-series Sherlock. In addition, Cumberbatch will be the voice of Necromancer in The Hobbit.
