Naruto Shippuden: Bonds set to premiere this October!

The North American anime distributor Viz Mediaannounced on its Twitter account and 25th anniversary websitethat Naruto Shippūden the Movie: Bonds (Naruto Shippūden: Kizuna) will have its American premiere in October. In particular, Viz Media is holding a Heroes of Anime Sweepstakes where the winner and a guest will be flown to a premiere screening in New York City.

In the story, a mysterious group of ninjas makes a surprise attack on the Konohagakure, which takes great damage. The nightmare of another Shinobi World War could become a reality.

The film opened in Japan in August of 2008. It is the fifth Naruto film and the second Naruto Shippūden film.

Now, I have already seen the movie a while back and it’s pretty good, but I still wish I could see it on the big screen. If you are interested in Viz’ Heroes of Anime Sweepstakes, you can enter to win in the link. Takes about 20 seconds to fill out; it would be cool to win a trip to NYC to check out the movie premiere.
