Amazing Spider-Man Set Pictures Give First Look at Dr. Curt Connors (The Lizard)


More pictures have surfaced from the set of The Amazing Spider-Man (scheduled to release in 2012), this time revealing Dr Curt Connors, played by Rhys Ifans, a scientist looking to develop the means for humans to gain a lizard’s ability to regrow lost limbs. However, his experiment goes awry and the scientist is transformed into the Lizard. You’ll notice the greenscreen hand in the photo of Dr. Connors — that’s because the movie character is missing his arm. That will be removed by post-production CGI goodness.

The new set of photos also offers us a glimpse at Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, and Martin Sheen as Peter Parker’s Uncle Ben. Check out the full set of photos:
