The Avatar Lives On!

Avatar: The Legend of Korra is currently scheduled for release on Nickelodeon in November this year. Currently in development for 12 episodes, Korra is sure to be an awesome addition to the Avatar series. We can all rest easy knowing that M. Night Shyamalan, despite his success in disappointing thousands of people with his horrendous production of The Last Airbender, will not have any part in this new series. Anyway here’s a first look at this hotheaded independent young Avatar.

I definitely want this show to be a success and give us more than just 12 episodes in Republic City; that being said, maybe they just want to see how well— or not, the show does before ordering more episodes. In any case, I am looking forward to the “metropolis powered by steampunk-type technology”, and the fact that citizens from all four nations reside in it. Perhaps there will still be some hostility amongst those who remember the war.
